Obviously vehicles are prominent in the city and stories, and as the author who is a big gearhead himself, a vehicular enthusiast, the vehicles will always always have names and a brief mild description. They say an author shouldn't fill a story with details- to let the readers imagination carry an image. Well I figure just because you are given the stats of a vehicle doesn't mean you can't perceive what it could possibly look like, in fact I think it aids. It's not like I'm telling you that Sydni(Rayne Falls) is 5'7 140lbs with F-cups, size 12 hips and her blood type is O-. I'm simply aiding in your imagination. Please regard that description of the sexy Sydni- it was an example...obviously.
Although I do when I write a character layout, there are things I do write, even if it doesn't make it in the story, but that's another post. As with the automotive mecha, a lot of people drive modded cars and a majority of them are the performance models of their respective makes in some way. Example; Becca's(Becca's Story, until a better title is came up with) car is coupe utility vehicle, it serves as a mule when she personally picks up things for the gym she owns. A CUV in the real world consist of vehicles as the El Camino, Baja, or VW Caddy. Her's- which I forget the name has I believe a turbo inline six, 5 or 6 speed manual, and all wheel drive. I will be posting info on, first, cars of the main and secondary characters, followed by cars of filler characters such as some of the opponents in some of Raynes(Rayne Falls) races, and cars mentioned. Some of the cars have artwork, but I don't think I will post any of it, as long as you have the general idea of what it could look like or resemble.
I will admit to borrowing a few make and models from games such as Interstate 76 and it's subsequent Vigilante8/Vigilante8 2nd Offense and possibly the Grand Theft Auto series. I will admit at least the GTA cars will be renamed when I edit the stories before posting them here. They just have some damn awesome names. With my creativity I just didn't want everything to be real world cars, I can create vehicles with stats that I know will be right. So just stay tuned...
