What I've Been Up To

 Shitty title for this one, I guess. But here it is. I've already explained how I'm doing other works, and all that. I've always had a YouTube account, that I do stuff with... whenever. I have a TikTok that I'm marginally done more with. I haven't talked about my writing on there. Either of them. As of late, I've done quite a bit of fanfiction. I also have a decent amount of original work being... worked on. Yeah. It's all in the name of honing my craft.

I have also had a Twitter account, forever. I also just recently made an account on BlueSky. No, it wasn't to run away from Twitter, either. Both are aieght, and I know those are more popular with the short form blog format. I can do a lot more here, than there. And this, unlike those there's, is about my writing. I also have made a Link Tree for everything that I'm doing. Yall should check that out. Especially if you wanna see everything I've been writing since this pipe nightmare dream started. I have a lot of things crossposted, and the reasons should be obvious. But there are some things that can't go in some places. The things that can't go in any place, will find it's home here. I also have Cashapp, and had been thinking about Ko-Fi, or whatever it is.

Now what I'm not doing, is writing erotica or smut under this name anymore. I have a new name for that stuff, there are reasons for this. I don't know where this name is going, but I know erotica can be a detriment. No I don't want that name connected with this one... it has it's own email, and all that. It doesn't mean I'm removing existing erotica, it just means that; other than what's already there, what needs to be finished will be, there will be no more. It will stand as proof that I can do it. Why not? I also have a different name for my poetry, and a possible for romance, depending on how things go.

In the mean time, I will be trying to not abandon this blog, which seems to be a pattern for all of my blogs. I still have two hidden, that are under construction for the Panther platform, and Gy6 scooters. Pages and things will be updated and such, I'm still working on changes to make this what I need to be. I think this place is a keystone. I've also been trying to simplify and make my handle (@ItsDaJax) as universal as my user name. I suppose tiny updates and shit will be on Twitter and Bluesky, and sometimes my Facebook page. As far as big stuff, or whatever, that's writing related, will be here. The only thing I've only half thought about, is putting anything about my fanfiction here, and I'm not sure about my stuff on Medium, which is specifically editorials, articles, whatever you wanna call them.

 

All I need now, since I've been fucking laying the path is an audience. I've been writing on and off since 2011. I'm like KET; I need viewers like you. It feels like I've been mostly writing into the abyss. 

I've been leaning on short form writing, Whatever novel length stuff is out there, is just out there. Again; proof I can do it. But I'm not doing it for free. I had been pondering where I should put what, for the longest. This move has aided in that quandary, so has the new pen name. No more free novels, I need something for KDP or Smash. Sure there's Love.exe, but that's pretty much a first draft, and book one of a duology. The second won't be free. It also has B-sides, short stories to go with it.

Whew... this was a lot, but it needed to be said.

Rhapsodic Revamp

 It's been a while since I've done anything here, but I will be trying to give this site a broader range than just the Lazzoverse stories. My hypothetical viewers will notice the name change along with the content. Things are different, not everything I write is part of the Lazzoverse--I haven't written anything for that in a long time, actually. I was never going to pidgeonhole myself with such narrow writing, besides; it makes better sense to just redo here, than start a whole new one for everything else. It's all under this name anyway.

I've done quite a bit of writing, a few years ago since I was mostly writing for Literotica, I needed a sabatical from it. With the issues with the laptop I used for writing, I hadn't done too much on any Lazzoverse story, except a quick edit of Rayne Falls to put on Wattpad. Back in 2019 I had gotten inspiration to write again with fanfiction and have written several, about, well, not exactly sure, but roughly twenty at the time of writing this on AO³(Archive Of Our Own) and FanFiction.net, with reposting some on AdultFan-Fiction and Quotev--which also has original content being put on it, although also repost. I know those sites are old and I well missed the bus when they were most relevent, but I need the reach and Wattpad is some bullshit, honestly. I also gave Medium a try.

This writing shit often feels like a fools errand and I don't know why I keep trying to do it. My plan was to get known enough to hopefully make publishing more lucretive. That there would be examples of long form and short form writing. I'll probably just provide links to my fanfiction and my Medium account, and Literotica. This sites for everything else. I may or may not finish the unfinished works on Lit, but effectively last year, erotica has basically ceased being written under this name, I don't want anymore connections to it here, for a myriad of reasons. Nor is the name I'm continuing under has any connections to this one. That's about the last you'll hear about that.

No, I'm not, nor ever sought to be rich from any of this. I just want to tell stories and if it lets me keep a pack of smokes, then good. I have nothing on the market yet, life has not been too kind for too long, and I'm trying to have several things completed and a lot of shit needs to be written or edited/rewritten. When I read Rayne Falls before I edited it, I couldn't believe I wrote it, I audibly asked my laptop "who the fuck wrote this‽" One reason was I had planned on going tradpub, but learning more about that, I don't plan on it, I don't think the mainstream fits my work. Here I am, almost twenty years later, trying to still build myself with a bunch of free shit to get people interested in buying shit, and the free shits barely catching attention. I'm too close to forty for this bullshit. I ain't giving up yet, though. As Groucho Marx once said; "I'll live forever, or die trying." Everything I'm doing, or want to do is to build a legacy, some generational wealth to pass on to my kids I can't see, be a tad bit less of a nobody. I'm not greedy, if I can be a footnote, if not at least a paragraph in history, then it wasn't a fruitless endeavor. I wanna live, not just exist.

Current Works

So I'm still working on my Lazzoverse stuff, but my plan to build a readerbase is still a major work in progress to get my name out here. Speaking of such; I've started writing on FanFiction, ArchiveOfOurOwn, and Wattpad. I am thinking about putting some Lazzoverse stories on wattpad eventually. I've been wanting a break from Literotica and dipped in to fan fiction. I was inspired to write a Peanuts story, I already had an account on both ffnet and ao3, might as well make use of them. What I did was wrote two different versions of my first story; a more vanilla one for ffnet, after reviewing their tos, and a more explicit version for ao3, since they could care less. Besides, I am trying to take a break from smut writing, after all. Think of it as like Full Metal Alchemist versus FMA:Brotherhood. I then took the first and only at the time fan fict I wrote like ten years ago, finally edited it and put it on ao3. Don't worry, I do not like cross posting, that's why I tortured myself doing two versions of my first story, to start off both accounts. I also started trying to put anything on Watpad. Yes, one of my fanficts is on there(Shhhh I need to pad the account), and really I don't think it's the best place for it, but whatever. Other than that shameful second crosspost; I found a writing prompt subreddit I thought would give me some material to quickly write to publish there. I've done... two. Most of the ideas are so stupid and out there, I just can't even. I just wanted simple stuff while I was racking my brain trying to concieve work to put there. This is my struggle to work towards being a successfully mediocre author.

Visiting Velocity

I've started writing again and I also want to clarify on things I have written, like things on Lit. Especially with my plans that are far too late to change if I wanted to- which leaves me not to give a fuck about reputation. What am I talking about,  A user on Lit was saying on a thread about pen names how he uses a different pen name for his erotica, than other non-erotic work of his, on the notion that writing erotica might not bode well for his other ventures or attempts. I thought about this, but building a brand with this name and the fact that it is already connected to erotica via Lit, it's too late to change it. If anything I write yields some success, unless you know where to look, readers probably won't find out I write both, other than coming here. Maybe it can break walls, because people(publishers) shouldn't be judging on what writers write outside of what they are writing for them anyway. No fucks given here. Chances are any erotica I would want to publish probably won't be under Jax Rhapsody. But the stuff I have written and will write on Lit obviously will be.

That all said; I will be compiling all Lazzoverse stories and the sites you can find them on. Even the few erotica ones because why not? Like Tom the fishman said; "always take pride in the ships you build, nomatter what they're used for." Or something like that, but with writing. I already have a pen name for the poetry I'm gathering, so I will make one for any real erotica ventures. Biut what I already have under this name, can't and won't be undone. Although I think whatever ones on Lit are connected to this name are going to be the only and last ones. Yeah sure I'll still be writing under this name but whenever my readers do find out, at least they won't be able to connect the "PeRvErSiOnS" to their favorite city, Velocity, KY.  It should all work out when I figure it out.

Also I want to announce that I have a Wattpad account, so I now have a place to write non-erotica and non fanfiction(I'm on FFNET & AO3). My flagship stories that I want to publish, the short read internet versions might end up on there if I can get more stories up and get monetized on there... along with small Lazzoverse stories and other stuff. Which kinda ties in to what I was just saying; the main reason I was writing on Lit was it was the only(and first place) I found to write, no strings attatched. I tried Writing.com, but they only gave you ten free slots, which I used to post previews of my flagships; Rayne Falls, Gifted, etc. I know despite the kinda views it was getting nearly ten years ago when I was active on it, Laviathans Cave was not a good place to publish. Which is why only Zerophilia is on it. I have Wattpad now and so far it's pretty good. Only two stories on there so far, however. One is this one shot I had forgotten that I wrote. The other was written and published yesterday for a contest, and it is a 500 word short story(They wanted -500) that is basically Rayne Fallez's  back story. You'll be finding eventually more Lazzoverse stuff there, I might even pull out some stuff I gave up on. I thought about actual stories on this blog, but that might change with my Wattpad account, with only weird shit here, like a scene or experimental stuff. But yep, I'm on Wattpad.

Vehicles

As big car city, many Velocians have modded cars or drive performance oriented cars. I admit I've borrowed a few cars from my favorite games such as Grand Theft Auto and the series Interstate 76 with the acompanying Vigilante 8 and Vigilante 8 2nd Offense. Other than real cars;  This extends to most vehicles. I have vehicles that I've created myself and over the years, I've drawn quite a few of them. You'll find the Firefly on my DeviantArt profile. When I can get around to it, I'll be adding the pictures with possibly some details of them. What I also had been wanting to do is get a map of Louisville and alter and make a Velocity map, but.... that might not ever happen. At least you'll know what the cars look like, such as the Samson, Vandetta, and Mercantile. I'm also thinking that there will be less video game cars and more real ones and mine in future stories. I might be able to get away with V8 nd I76 cars, but who's to say? I don't want Rockstar suing me if I ever get legit published over some secondary character driving a Perenial, Sadler, or Infurnus. Depending on the route some take, those cars mighg end up getting edited out. I'm a big gearhead, and the city is a car city, so even stories not focused on cars mention a characters vehicle.  Though in some stories, like my erotica, they are hardly prominate.

Where Have I Been?

I started this blog a few years ago, to showcase my stories I had been writing, that take place in the same universe. Some I want to publish, others are free to read, some are both. Some are going to have the basic, whatever version and a actual rewrote full novel length to be published.

If you have read my stuff on Literotica; you'll see some unfinshed work. For a few years I had a bit of writers block and wasn't in the mental state to write. I was too depressed with my living situation and other life factors. My "taking the internet by storm, with my writing plan" did not fair well. Lmao. The other issue is my writing laptop. It basically needs to be plugged up all the time as it needs a new battery. Years ago when I got it, it was my first laptop and my circle of friends I had, when we would hang out at my girlfriends house, we watched stuff on it. I got a second laptop and usually left that one over there, so they could use it and the charger jack got worn out. Somethings up with the keyboard, too. I think it's dirty, most of the keys need to be finger punched.

I have gotten back in to it, since about late '17 or so, with my phones. I'm writing a bit of fan fiction I was inspired to write based on the Peanuts. You'll find the original on Fan Fiction and a more explicit version on Archive  Of Our Own(AO3). Just because; I'm putting the AO3 version on Lit as well, because why not?  The FF and AO3 are a bit different, otherwise I wouldn't be cross posting. I needed somewhere else other than Lit, to write. I want to write more than erotica and things that aren't mostly focused  on erotica or smut on Lit either won't fair well, or won't be allowed. I needed a place that wasn't limiting, like Writing.com; where I decided to just upload the first chapter to a few of my stories. I was actuallt searching a few weeks ago and on the Google Playstore, in the sugestion slide was Wattpad. Yay! A place I can write pretty much anything. Plus unlike Lit; there doesn't seem to be too much of an age restriction, for Wattpad and AO3. That doesn't mean I'm trying to write pedo smut, truth is most don't wait till 18 to have sex. On Wattpad I can do some more experimental writing that doesn't have to include erotica or stroke stories, all those are going to be pretty much, just on Lit. As far as AO3 and FF; they are both FanFiction sites. I'm not current with a lot of up to date television shows and cartoons. I have a few dedicated readers for my peanuts story, I'm rewriting a Daria one that I wrote years ago. I'll eventually make my way to some more popular stuff. I don't like to go way out left field with crossovers and crazy alternate realities. One is writing about an already existing franchise, all the info is there, no need to completely reinvent a tv show or cartoon.

So that is where I'm at, today. For those that have ever read my stuff where ever you found it... I have expanded some. I am building a brand, to be somebody, all my work is going in to my writing before I can start another venture of mine. It takes money to.make money.

I have read on Literotica for some time about peoples work being stolen and posted on other sites either for profit or for free. I never thought to check my work until now. I don't understand why some moron, some lowly piss-ant would take somebody elses shit. I feel if you're not going to pay me to post my work- even if it's somewhere free to read- leave it the fuck alone. If I wanted it there, I'd post it myself. My work is to get me known, not some retard, or a site I use to get more views. I don't care if I am credited as an author, stop doing this shit.
